LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 15, 1994 <br />C. Response from Rep. Neary regarding proposed legislation. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Johnson - to authorize the city administrator send a letter to Rep. <br />Neary indicating the council's disappointment she would not sponsor Lake <br />Elmo's legislation and, unfortunately, forcing the city to seek another author, <br />such as Rep. Doug Swenson and/or Rep. Mark Holstein. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />6. PLANNING/LAND USE & ZONING: <br />A. Resolution No. 94-5 Minor Subdivision for Goetschel/Klatt <br />M/S/C Conlin/John - to adopt Resolution 94-5, A Resolution Granting a Minor <br />Subdivision to Bonita and Donald Klatt and Walter and Gladys Goetschel. <br />(Motion carried 5-0). <br />B. PUBLIC HEARING: Vacation of Utility Easement <br />Lot 2, Block 2, DeMontreville Highlands 6th Addition <br />Mayor John opened up the public hearing at 8:15 p.m. in the city council <br />chambers. The public hearing notice was published in the January 7,1994 <br />Stillwater Gazette and adjacent property owners were notified. <br />There was no one to speak against the vacation. <br />Mayor John closed the public hearing at 8:20 p.m. <br />M/S/C Johnson/Mottaz - to adopt Resolution 94-6, A Resolution for Drainage <br />and Utility Easement Vacation in Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, DeMontreville Highlands <br />6th Addition. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />C. Highway 5 Overlay <br />M/S/C John/Johnson - to table until the Planning Commission has a full quorum <br />to review the TH 5 Corridor Study by Steve Schwanke and come back to the <br />council with a recommendation. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />D. Lake Elmo Elementary School: Jim McNamara <br />Jim McNamara reported Lake Elmo Elementary School is requesting <br />consideration of waiving fees ($350) for a site and plan review on a proposed 12' <br />x 20' temporary storage structure at a cost of $700 for the Lake Elmo Elementary <br />School. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/John - to waive fees for a site and plan review for a temporary <br />storage structure located at the Lake Elmo Elementary_ School, but to require a <br />site and plan review by the Planning Commission. (Motion carried 5-0.) <br />
