Ordinance 8127 "Temporary Parking Permits" <br />The Council reviewed a draft ordinance at their last meeting and made some minor changes and asked <br />the staff to bring back the revised ordinance for consideration. Social events have been added to the <br />ordinance. <br />M/S/P Johnston/Conlin - to adopt Ordinance 8127 amending Section 1002.040 and adding Section <br />1002.050 to the Lake Elmo Municipal Code relating to Temporary Parking Permits. (Motion passed 4-0). <br />E. Approval for Map Services <br />Planner Terwedo explained in preparation of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the open space <br />(clustering) policies and ordinance preparation, there are overlay maps which will be needed to provide a <br />development framework for the areas in the City identified. Insight Mapping prepared a quote for <br />services to develop a restrictive soils map along with a map depicting prime agricultural lands. This <br />mapping will assist the City in making decisions on the future of these areas. The City must also <br />purchase the soils information from Washington County in order to prepare the map. <br />Quote: $739.00 Insight Mapping <br />$225.00 Purchase of soils information from Washington County <br />TOTAL $964.00 <br />M/S/P John/Johnston - to accept the proposal for $739.00 from Insights Mapping and purchase soils <br />Information from Washington County at a cost of $225.00. Final Payment for 1993 MSA Project <br />Larry Bohrer reported in his memo dated December 1, 1995 that the work performed by Tower asphalt on <br />the 1993 MSA Improvements (Jamaca Avenue and Lake Jane Trail) is complete and ready for final <br />acceptance. <br />M/S/P Johnston/DeLapp - to approve Compensating Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $48,507.95. <br />(This figures shows that the final cost was lower than the original bid). (Motion passed 4-0). <br />M/S/P to approve the Final Payment in the amount of $40,885.70. (Motion passed 4-0). <br />B. Change Order #1 for 1995 Overlay Project and Partial Payment No. 2 <br />Larry Bohrer reported in his memo dated December 1, 1995 that at the beginning of the 1995 Overlay <br />Project, Marilyn Kennedy advised them of a drainage concern near 9051 Jane Road. It was determined <br />that a short storm sewer installation was necessary to convey drainage from the north end of Jane Road <br />northerly in the Jamaca Avenue Blvd. to a ponding area in FoxFire Estates.
