Other- Bidding Schedule for Section 33 Utilities <br />M/S/P Johnston/Hunt - the City Council will meet at 6:00 p.m. on June 7 to review bids for Section 33. (Motion <br />passed 5-0.) <br />M/S/P Hunt/John - to postpone Section 33 utility bid opening to Friday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. (Motion passed 5- <br />0.) <br />M/S/P Hunt/Conlin - to move agenda item 7A - C. to follow 8G. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />7. PLANNING/LAND USE & ZONING: <br />A. Case No. ZAT/96-12: Zoning Text Amendment - Ordinance adding Light Manufacturing as a <br />Conditional Use in Limited Business and redefining "Use Determination" <br />City Planner Terwedo reviewed the background of this amendment and advised the Council that a public hearing <br />was held by the Planning Commission and recommendation of approval of the amendment was unanimous by <br />the commission. Mayor John recommended such facilities be limited as to the number of employees per facility. <br />City Attorney Filla suggested some verbiage be amended. <br />M/S/P Johnston/Hunt - to table this item to allow staff to review wording and number of people allowed in such <br />facilities, to the June 4th meeting. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />B. Public Hearing: Case No. SUBN/96-14: Minor Subdivision of a 76 acre parcel into a 12 acre <br />parcel and a 64 acre parcel, with variance to lot ratio. Property located at 6193 and 5275 Keats <br />Ave. N. Applicants: George Dege and Joe Magill <br />Mayor John opened the public hearing at 10:05 p.m. and asked for public comment. In absence of comments, <br />Mayor John closed the public hearing at 10:06 p.m. <br />M/S/P Conlin/Hunt - to approve Case No. Sub/W96-9 as presented by Resolution No. 96-10, with the condition <br />that the 24 acre parcel cannot be subdivided, based on findings 1 - 6 in the staff report. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />M/S/P John/Del-app - to direct staff to instruct the Planning Commission to review the 4:1 lot ratio requirement in <br />the RR zoning district. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />C. Case No. ZAM/96-15 Zoning Map Amendment - Rezone a 12 acre parcel from AG (Agricultural) to <br />RR (Rural Residential) on property located at 5193 Keats Ave. N. Applicants: George Dege and <br />Joe Magill. <br />City Planner Terwedo recommended approval of the request to rezone the 12 acre parcel of land which will be <br />combined with the existing 12 acres. The map amendment is consistent with the policies in the comprehensive <br />Plan. The Future Land Use Map does Identify this land as RAD, Rural Agricultural Density (1 unit per 10 acres). <br />The 64 acre parcel of land will remain as Agricultural. The majority of land uses adjacent to these parcels are 10 <br />acres and are consistent with the Future Land Use Map. <br />M/S/P Johnston/Del-app - to approve Case No. ZAM/96-15, a zoning amendment to rezone a 12 acre parcel of <br />land from Agricultural (AG) to Rural Residential (RR) by Ordinance No. 8134. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />
