(Motion passed 5-0). <br />H. Appointments to Planning Commission <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Dunn — to appoint Todd Ptacek, Jeff Berg, and Rod Sessing to three-year terms on the <br />Planning Commission starting January, 1999, and expiring December 31, 2001. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />I. Appointments to Parks Commission <br />The terms of Rand Wagner and Karen Leach expire on December 31, 1998. Rand Wagner has requested <br />reappointment to the Commission, but the City has not heard back from Karen Leach. The staff will contact <br />Karen Leach to see if she is interested in serving on the Parks Commission. The application from David <br />Steele, 9576 55'h Street N., for the First Alternate seat will be acted upon at the January 19'h Council <br />meeting. <br />M/S/P Dunn/DeLapp — to reappoint Rand Wagner to a three year term on the Parks Commission, <br />commencing January 1999 and expiring December 2001. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />J. Appointments to Community Education Advisory Boards (832, 834, & 622) <br />Representatives to the 622 and 832 Community Education Advisory Board will be advertised in the <br />Newsletter. In the meantime, Mayor Hunt and Council member Armstrong will serve as the City's <br />representative to the 622 and 832 Community Education Advisory Boards. <br />M/S/P Siedow/Armstrong - to appoint Rosemary Armstrong as the representative to the 622 Community <br />Education Advisory Board, Lee Hunt as the representative to the 832 Community Advisory Board and <br />Nancy Hansen to the 834 Community Education Advisory Board. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />K. Resolution Adopting Fees <br />The staff is still working on a revised fee schedule. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Siedow — to postpone consideration of the 1999 Fee Schedule to the January 19'h City Council <br />Meeting. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />L. Solid Waste Advisory Committee <br />The Council recently adopted the new Solid Waste/Environment Ordinance and appointed 3 members to <br />this commission. The staff is in the process of securing additional members for this commission. <br />Administrator Kueffner will bring back to the Council at a later date the appointment of additional <br />members. Administrator Kueffner has been talking to Pine Springs and City of Grant on entering a Joint <br />Powers Agreement. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Siedow — to postpone appointments to the Solid Waste Environmental Commission to a future <br />meeting. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />M. Council liaisons to City Committees and Commissions <br />For the past few years, the Council has assigned individual members as liaisons to the Commission and <br />Committees established by the City.
