All employees subject to Minnesota Statute Section 192.26 or <br />192.261 or U.S.C.A., Title 38, Section 2021 are entitled to the <br />benefits and conditions listed therein. <br />ARTICLE 24: ELECTION DAYS <br />Any employee who is entitled to vote in any statewide general <br />election or at any election to fill a vacancy in the office of <br />representative in Congress, may absent himself/herself from <br />his/her work for the purpose of voting during such election day <br />for a period not to exceed two (2) hours without deduction from <br />salary on account of such absence, provided the employee has made <br />prior arrangements for the absence with the EMPLOYER. Any <br />employee making claim for time off for voting and not casting a <br />ballot or utilizing the time off for unauthorized purposes shall <br />be subject to disciplinary action. <br />ARTICLE 25: SCOPE OF AGREEMENT <br />A. This AGREEMENT shall represent the complete agreement <br />between the UNION and EMPLOYER. The parties acknowledge that <br />during the negotiations which resulted in this AGREEMENT <br />each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make <br />requests and proposals with respect to any subject or matter <br />not removed by law from the area of collective bargaining, <br />and that the complete understandings and agreements arrived <br />at by the parties after the exercise of that right and <br />opportunity are set forth in this AGREEMENT. <br />B.Therefore, the EMPLOYER and the UNION, for the life of this <br />AGREEMENT each voluntarily and unqualifiedly waives the <br />right and each agrees that the other shall not be obligated <br />to bargain collectively with respect to any subject or <br />matter referred to or covered in this AGREEMENT or with <br />respect to any subject or matter not specifically referred <br />to or covered in this AGREEMENT, even though such subject or <br />matter may not have been within the knowledge or <br />contemplation of either or both of the parties at the time <br />that they negotiated or signed this AGREEMENT. <br />ARTICLE 26: DURATION <br />A. This contract shall become effective January 1, 2018 -6 -. and <br />shall continue in full force and effect up to and including <br />December 31, 201-7-20. <br />B. Any and all prior agreements, resolutions, practices, <br />policies, rules and regulations regarding terms and <br />conditions of employment, to the extent inconsistent with <br />the provisions of this contract, are hereby superseded. <br />20 <br />
