RESOLUTION NO. 052521A <br />CITY OF LAUDERDALE <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR THE <br />2021 SEAL COATING PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2021 Seal Coating Project to be <br />performed in the City of Lauderdale, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to <br />the law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Allied Blacktop Company $150,887.50 <br />Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $158,775.00 <br />Pearson Bros. Inc. $2215350900 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop Company is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAUDERDALE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Allied Blacktop Company in the name of the city of Lauderdale for the 2021 Seal Coating <br />Project according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the city council and on <br />file in the office of the city clerk. <br />2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of Lauderdale this 25th day of May, 2021. <br />Mary Gaasch, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Heather Butkowski, City Administrator <br />
