LAUDERDALE CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Lauderdale City Hall <br />1891 Walnut Street <br />Lauderdale, MN 55113 <br />Public Hearing and Discussion Items <br />fflo� =_�� MEA <br />Butkowski stated the City Park ordinance needed to be updated to respond to residents that <br />continue to park in Community Park after the plowing is finished and the roads are cleared. The <br />ordinance amendment. will provide the owners of vehicles 12 hours after City streets have been <br />cleared to remove their cars from the parking lot. <br />The Council discussed alcohol consumption within the park and amended the ordinance to allow <br />individuals to bring in and consume alcohol at city parks but the sale of alcohol is prohibited. <br />Mayor Dains opened the public hearing on the City Parks ordinance at 8:15 p.m. No one came <br />forward. Mayor Dains closed the public hearing at 8:16 p.m. <br />Councilor Gaasch moved adoption of Ordinance 14-01 regarding City Parks. Councilor <br />Grove seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. <br />Appointments and Committee Assignments <br />The Mayor and Council discussed assignments. Lauderdale erdale resident and current Mississippi <br />Watershed Management Organization (MWMO) representative Karen Gill -Gerbig will remain <br />on the MWMO board. <br />Councilor Gaasch will remain Mayor Pro Temp. Councilor Gaasch will also be the Metro Cities <br />representative and the alternate to the Park and Community Involvement Committee. <br />Councilor Grove will be the Ramsey County League of Local Government representative and <br />continue to be on the Park and Community Involvement Committee. <br />Councilor Mac Lean will remain a signer on the City's bank account. Mae Lean will be removed <br />as alternate to the PCIC as the meeting times conflict with her schedule. <br />Councilor Gaasch moved to approve Councilor Gaasch as Mayor Pro Tem and adopt <br />committee assignments as discussed. Councilor Grove seconded the motion and it passed <br />unanimously. <br />No fees were removed. The Fire Call Charge Back fee was added along with an increase for <br />Social Room set-up and clean-up. <br />
