Mounds View City Council January 3, 2000 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br />Council Member Marty indicated as representative to Northwest Youth and Family Services <br />during the previous year, he had noticed that Terri Blattenbauer had not attended any of the <br />meetings. He inquired if she was aware of her appointment to this body. <br />City Administrator Whiting explained that Ms. Blattenbauer had been an alternate during the <br />previous year. <br />Council Member Thomason stated she would be interested in serving on the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission. Mayor Coughlin stated this was a good group, and he would be <br />agreeable to remain as the alternate to this body, in addition to continuing to attend the Ramsey <br />County League of Local Government, the 135W Corridor Coalition, and other official functions. <br />Council Member Quick indicated he would be interested in serving on the Spring Lake <br />Park/Blaine/Mounds View Fireman's Relief Association. <br />Council Member Thomason stated she would be interested in serving on the Golf Course <br />Committee. <br />Mayor Coughlin stated he would agree to continue as alternate on the Cable Television <br />Committee. <br />Council Member Marty stated Council Member Stigney had done an excellent job as Council <br />Liaison to the Planning Commission. Mayor Coughlin agreed, adding that Council Member <br />Stigney had done an outstanding job. He advised that this appointment would be contingent <br />upon Council Member Stigney's agreement to continue to serve in this capacity. <br />Council Member Marty noted that an alternate should be appointed to Northwest Family and <br />Youth Services. Mayor Coughlin inquired if Council Member Thomason would agree to serve <br />as the alternate for this group. <br />Council Member Thomason agreed. <br />Mayor Coughlin inquired if Council Member Quick would agree to serve as the alternate liaison <br />to the Planning Commission. <br />Council Member Quick agreed. <br />Mayor Coughlin indicated the appointments as follows: <br />Planning Commission <br />Roger Stigney <br />Gary Quick (Alternate) <br />Mounds View Business Association <br />Dan Coughlin <br />Chuck Whiting <br />Parks and Recreation Commission <br />Lynn Thomason <br />Dan Coughlin (Alternate) <br />Ramsey County League of Local <br />Government <br />Northwest Youth and Family Services <br />Terri Blattenbauer <br />Lynn Thomason <br />League of Minnesota Cities <br />Chuck Whiting <br />
