Section 3. The average work month for employees for purposes of comput- <br />ing vacations, sick leave, and fractions of a month's work shall be one <br />hundred seventy -three (173) hours, <br />ARTICLE VII <br />Overtime <br />-3- <br />Section 1. Overtime is defined as all hours worked in excess of eight <br />(8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week, and for all hours worked <br />on the sixth (6th) day, Sunday, and legal holidays or days observed as <br />holidays. <br />Section 2,. Overtime for all employees shall be paid as it.is earned at <br />the rate of time and ones -half (11) cash payment. On the five scheduled <br />work days, the compensatory time shall be time and one -half. On the <br />6th day and Sunday, holidays, and days observed as holidays, it shall <br />be time and one half (131) cash payment. <br />Section 3. An employee called back to work after he has completed his <br />regular work day or called out on his day off shall receive a minimum <br />of two (2) hours' compensation at the overtime rate. <br />Section 1. <br />ARTICLE VIII <br />Wages <br />ARTICLE IX <br />Duration <br />Monthly Rate <br />Foreman 758. H &W <br />Public Works Maint. man 708 H &W <br />Park Dept. Maintenance Man 708 H&W <br />Section 2. These wages shall be effective January 1, 1970 through <br />December 31, 1970 <br />Section 3. Employees working at a higher classification for period <br />of five (5) consecutive days shall receive the rate of pay for the higher <br />classification. <br />Section 4. An employee who works 50% or more in a one -year period at a <br />higher job classification shall be eligible for reclassification. <br />Section 5. Public Works Maintenance Man shall be required to operate <br />Village equipment and perform duties as directed by the Superintendent. <br />This Resolution shall be in effect from January 1, 1970 through <br />December: 31, 1970. <br />Member Blanchard seconded the Resolution.
