Lind appeared before the Council requesting subdivision of <br />Lot No. 73, S Lake Park Hillview Addition into two lots- -110 ft. <br />wide and 132 ft. wide. Upon quostionin, Mr. Lind; the Council <br />was inforaled that Kr. D..hlmeier was the true owner of the property <br />concerned and that Mr. Lind could not legally make application for <br />the subdivision of said land. I;r. .:r.;ne therefore suggested that <br />hr. Li take no action on this until formal application for sub- <br />division -,r. ..c•.hlmeier has been made in the Village Clerk's office. <br />Mr. slenn ,.awson, .d ice ;oom'_ssion member, read the monthly <br />•olice report, hich is on filo in the Clerk's office and also submitted <br />the following recommendations to the G..•uncil: (1) <br />to call for bids for a new 1961 police car- -said bids to be submitted <br />Kit :1 without a trade -in; (2) :Recommendation that the Council <br />submit an ad in the legal newspaper and such other newspapers as <br />may be desired, notifyin„ those interested that applications will <br />be t,`en to fill the position of patrolman in i-.ounds View Village. <br />Mayor Grano instructed tho attorney to Prepare the bids for a <br />,lolice car and suggested that the closing date be delayed until all <br />1,61 models are on the market. a•.: yor Crane also rnn..unced that an <br />..dvertisement for police applicants was iiiserted in the previous <br />week's newspaper. ,.c also stated that said applications would be <br />Wept on file until such time as it is necessary to hire a patrolman. <br />.ttrr_ey i:cyers ..resented the water assessment resolution to <br />the Council for approval.
