Seconded by Christenson. 5 Ayes for approval. Lotion carried. The Clerk was instructed to sent_ a copy of the aforementioned map to the legal ner *spaper and to have the map and notice published. Is. f_alvin gave a report on thepurchase of cleaning equipment for the Village office. Mayor Crane read a report of the Building and Zoning Sub Commitee meeting of January 17, 1961. Iiot;.on by Crane that the sub•- standard_ house at 7856 Long Lake Rd. no longer be used as a residence but that it could be rebuilt for use as an accessory building or garage. Seconded by iialvin. 5 Ayes for approval. Notion carried. The Clerk was instructed to send a letter on official stationery to the owner of the building notifying then of the Council action and requesting notification of the owners intent of property at 7856 Long Lake Road, The Clerk read a report of tl meeting held on January 16, 1961, regarding the hiring of a Deputy Clerk. lotion by Blanchard-that the Village place an ad for one treelc _n theNetr Brighton Bulletin, Spring Lake Park Crier St. ^7_u1 Pioneer Press, and the Iiinn_eapolis Star and Tribune, advertising for an Ac'ninistrative Deputy Clerk. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes for approval. Lotion carried. A contract proposal was read from the fir of Comstock and Davis regarding Engineering Services for the Village. Notion by Crane that the firm of Comstock and Davis be appointed Zngineering Consultants for 1961 at the figures quoted in their proposal. Seconded by Ilodges. 5 Ayes for approval. Lotion carried. A Planning Agreement between the Villar;e of f=ounds View and Iiidwest Planners vas read by the Clerk. Lotion by Hodges to accept the contract as presented and to subrlit it to 1:ichrest Planners for their approval. Seconded by iialvin. Discussion took place about Village wort: now in thehands of the Pla runer regarding whether he is is to be paid under this contract or the previous contract.
