-2- <br />The Attorney was instructed that he would be held <br />responsible for all legal publications. <br />Motion by Hodges to correct minutes of July 23rd Council <br />meeting by adding "September 10, 1962" to the fourth line <br />from the bottom of Page #3 line corrected would read <br />"Hillview Road Project tentative date for bids September 10,1962 <br />and to approve minutes as corrected. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Malvin to correct July 30th minutes of Special <br />Meeting to read "however alternates #2 and #3 are eliminated <br />thus making the D.W, hickey Company the low bidder in the <br />amount of $25,040.00 and approve minutes as corrected. <br />Seconded by Crane; 4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Questions as to the method of reassessing lots that <br />are being or will be subdivided referred to the Engineer and <br />Attorney for study and recommendation. <br />Motion by Sullivan to set August 27, 1962, 8 :30 P.M. <br />as hearing date to rezone Lot #58, Auditor's Subdivision #89 <br />from R1 -A to B -3 Retail Business as requested by Mr. Andrew <br />Simon to build a Supper Club and Motel. Seconded by Malvin. <br />4 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan to grant a variance to allow Mr. <br />James Haluptzok to move his garage three feet from the lot <br />line the garage is now located on the lot line of the North <br />one half of Lot #21, Spring Lake Park Hillview This is a <br />hardship case due to the area. Seconded by Malvin, 4 Ayes. <br />Motion Carried. <br />0J011.0 <br />Attorney Meyers reported that the easements on the <br />Haluptzok Terrace Development have been sent nut. <br />Mr. Walter Skiba introduced Mr. Donald Nelson and Mr. <br />Donald Nichols, land developers, interested in building and <br />developing land between Highway 8 and Highway #10. The <br />Council explained the zoning, water, storm and sanitary <br />sewer facilities within Mounds View. <br />Motion by Sullivan to adopt Ordinance #94, as an <br />amendment lo Liquor Ordinance #53. Seconded by Malvin. <br />Mrs. Bernice Ehlers, 6939 Pleasant Veiw Drive and Mrs. Ila <br />McCue, 7310 Fairchild both opposed the. adoption of this <br />Ordinance. It was explained thatthis amendment also clarified <br />Ordinance #53. 4 Ayes, Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Nick Kuehn, 2721 La Port Drive questioned the <br />authority of the Police Department. She was notified of the <br />Police Commission meeting to be held at the Village Hall on <br />August 23, 1962. <br />Mrs. Kuehn complained about the tall grass and weeds on <br />both Lambert and Sherwood. She was notified that Keith Ewers, <br />the weed inspector would be informed of this condition to <br />determine whether it was a Village matter. Mrs. Kuehn questioned <br />the tax structure. All available information was given to her. <br />
