Motion carried. <br />Motion by Sullivan to instruct the Clork's Office to send a letter <br />to Mr. T.O. Flowers informing him that the Village Council would be <br />favorably inclined to issuing a permit for a motel and restaurant in the <br />forementioned area subject to approval of the proper application and <br />building permit. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution #15jr, certifying a list of <br />nine assessments of 1962 -2 has been paid. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mayor Hodges reported that the Recreation Committee is considering <br />installing a girls' soft ball diamond North of the Village Hall. The <br />committee is studying the possibility of installing permanent foundations <br />under the ''arming Houses. <br />Motion by Hodges to set the 1963- 1(Mueller Addition) Assessment <br />Hearing for April 27, 1964 at 9:00 P.fl. Seconded by LaVaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mayor Hodges reviewed the progress on the planning of Sanitary <br />;Sewer; its costs, and some of the alternates. <br />Motion by Blanchard to order the Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Mains and <br />drainage for those areas marked on the interceptor map as A -1, A-2, B -1, <br />B -2, B -3, C -2, D -1, D -2 and direct the Village Engineer to prepare final <br />plans and specifications and advertise for bids for this serer project. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Clerk Blanchard explained that the C -1 and C -3 areas were not in- <br />cluded because of the indicated opposition to sanitary sewer. Motion by <br />Blanchard to hold an informal informational meeting for the residents in <br />the C -1, C -3 and E areas. This meeting to be held on Monday, April 20, <br />1964 at 8:00 P.M. the purpose to explain the costs of sanitary sewer <br />for this area. Seconded by LaVaque. 5 Ayes. Iā¢iotion carried. <br />The Clerk's Office is to send post cards to residents within these <br />areas. <br />Mayor Hodges read thank you notes from the Minnesota Heart Assoc., <br />and the Lake Region hockey Assoc. He referred a notice of the 4th <br />Annual Planning Conference to Trustee LaVaque. <br />Trustee LaVaque reported that the unsanitary house brought to his <br />attention is being cleaned. <br />LaVaque stated that he is investigating prices of steel buildings. <br />Trustee Rustad reported that the B. E. Patrol is following the <br />correct procedure in removing dead animals. Rustad stated that the <br />building inspector is looking at structures to house the Civil Defense <br />
