4- Trustee Malvin stated that he was against deferred assessments. Clerk Walser stated that he was against forcing assessments and the use of deferred assessments. Mayor Rustad stated that he would favor the lift station and that he feels the school would benefit from the road. Trustee Lang questioned the use of the Skiba property line for improvements access to rear of Highway #10 properties. Attorney Meyers reminded the Council that since objector Thomasen owned the end property, he could be simply deleted from the plans. After discussion with Mr. Thomasen, it was decided that he would be included in the original plans at this time, and he will advise in several days if he wished to be deleted. M /S /P (Rustad- Johnson) To order improvements as defined by Plan "B" (Lift Station) as listed the Engineer, Preliminary report of June 1967 and ammended to include the properties named in the petition (properties along Highway #10) and the properties of Mr. Christiansen and Mr. Thomasen. 5 Ayes Roll call on the motion polled: Johnson Aye, Lang Aye, Malvin Aye, Rustad Aye, Walser Aye, 5 Ayes M /S /P (Rustad-Lang) To order the Engineer to prepare the final plans on the improvements ordered. 5 Ayes M /S /F (Malvin -Lang) To order the Attorney to acquire by purchase, negotiation, or condemnation, the south half of Woodale Drive by the Edgewood School site. 5 Ayes Mr. Walton, 3036 Ardmore, questioned the Council's attitude toward the lives and property within the Mobile Home Park. Attorney Meyers stated that the Park is private property, and Police should have a signed complaint before entering. He suggested that it is similar to a large private yard. Many complaints were enumerated by Mr. Walton, including broken glass in the streets, old refrigerators, and unblocked trailers. He also questioned whether or not the Park had to comply with electrical and other codes. The Electrical Inspector, Mr. Edmond, reported that there were electrical violations. Mayor Rustad stated that all of our Inspectors would check the Park f conformity to our regulations.
