4- <br />Trustee Malvin stated that he was against deferred assessments. <br />Clerk Walser stated that he was against forcing assessments and the <br />use of deferred assessments. <br />Mayor Rustad stated that he would favor the lift station and that he <br />feels the school would benefit from the road. <br />Trustee Lang questioned the use of the Skiba property line for <br />improvements access to rear of Highway #10 properties. <br />Attorney Meyers reminded the Council that since objector Thomasen owned <br />the end property, he could be simply deleted from the plans. <br />After discussion with Mr. Thomasen, it was decided that he would be <br />included in the original plans at this time, and he will advise in <br />several days if he wished to be deleted. <br />M /S /P (Rustad- Johnson) To order improvements as defined by Plan "B" <br />(Lift Station) as listed the Engineer, Preliminary report of June <br />1967 and ammended to include the properties named in the petition <br />(properties along Highway #10) and the properties of Mr. Christiansen <br />and Mr. Thomasen. 5 Ayes <br />Roll call on the motion polled: <br />Johnson Aye, Lang Aye, Malvin Aye, Rustad Aye, Walser Aye, <br />5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad-Lang) To order the Engineer to prepare the final plans <br />on the improvements ordered. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /F (Malvin -Lang) To order the Attorney to acquire by purchase, <br />negotiation, or condemnation, the south half of Woodale Drive by <br />the Edgewood School site. 5 Ayes <br />Mr. Walton, 3036 Ardmore, questioned the Council's attitude toward <br />the lives and property within the Mobile Home Park. <br />Attorney Meyers stated that the Park is private property, and Police <br />should have a signed complaint before entering. He suggested that it <br />is similar to a large private yard. <br />Many complaints were enumerated by Mr. Walton, including broken glass <br />in the streets, old refrigerators, and unblocked trailers. He also <br />questioned whether or not the Park had to comply with electrical and <br />other codes. <br />The Electrical Inspector, Mr. Edmond, reported that there were electrical <br />violations. <br />Mayor Rustad stated that all of our Inspectors would check the Park f <br />conformity to our regulations. <br />
