Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) To approve the <br />subdivide Unplatted Lands, Section 6, the <br />of west 528 feet of the northeast quarter <br />Planning Commission creating two (2) lots <br />4- <br />The Council directed that Mrs. Stafford be allowed to work as much as necessary from <br />the time the Administrator leaves on July 1 until his replacement is hired. <br />MSP (Neisen- Pickar) To authorize the purchase of two IBM Selectric typewriters at a <br />cost of $621.00 each. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges Johnson) To authorize the hiring of an additional police patrolman <br />effective September 1 and to notify the Police Civil Service Commission to provide <br />a certification of three individuals to the Council by August 1, 1974. <br />MSP (Neisen Baumgartner) To adopt Resolution No. 629 apportioning the assessments <br />on Division #48326. <br />Administrator Zylla a;knowledged the receipt of $20.65 from the League of Women Voters <br />to repair the City's mimeograph machine. The League will use their own paper and <br />pay $15.00 per year to the City for ink and be allowed to use the machine whenever <br />necessary. The first payment due for ink will be effective January 1, 1975. <br />Administrator Zylla stated that the Metro Sewer Board has approved the sewer user <br />charge system as submitted by the City and the City is now in compliance with the <br />Environmental Protection Agency's User Charge Regulation. <br />MSP (Johnson- Hodges) To authorize the installation of a street light on the southwest <br />corner of the property at 2848 County Road H2. 5 Ayes <br />Administrator Zylla stated that the newsletter will be coming out on about June 22, <br />1974. Included will be an article explaining the diseased tree program. He informed <br />the Council that a ground survey in connection with the disease control program will <br />commence next week and all diseased trees will be painted with a yellow dot at about <br />eye level. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson said that he had attended the last North Suburban Sewer Advisory <br />Board meeting. The Board has recommended that the Lino Lakes Centerville interceptor <br />proposed the last few years be a gravity line instead of lift stations. <br />MSP (Johnson Baumgartner) To set a hearing for 9:00 P.M., July 22, 1974 to consider <br />the formulation of regulations to control the parking of commercial vehicles in <br />residential areas. 3 Ayes <br />Neisen Naye <br />Hodges Naye <br />subdivision request of Naomi Eastman to <br />north 101.51 feet of the south 2632.5 feet <br />into two (2) lots as recommended by the <br />192 feet and 306 feet deep respectively. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson Pickar) To approve the subdivision request of Eric Johnson to subdivide <br />Unplatted Lands, Section 6, North 240 feet of the South 405 feet of East 264 feet of <br />West 528 feet of the NE quarter into (2) lots 90 feet by 264 feet and 150 feet by <br />264 feet. 5 Ayes <br />
