MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page 2 January 28, 1980 <br />Neil Loeding, 5046 Longview Drive, <br />asked if any Council action would be <br />taken on possible amendments to the <br />Charter as suggested by the Charter <br />Commission. The Mayor requested copies <br />for Councilmembers that had not received <br />the information, and more time in which <br />to study the matter. <br />Glenn Karlen asked, since Project 80 -1 <br />had failed, if he could have Council <br />go -ahead to extend the water line himself. <br />Council advised him to check the matter <br />out with Staff, who would then present <br />it to Council. <br />Donna Bowman invited the Mayor and Council <br />again to MacDonald's Feb. 17 for the <br />kick -off of the snowmobile run for <br />spinal bifida. It had been postponed <br />earlier due to lack of snow. <br />Sewer and water extensions, proposed <br />under Project 78 -6, have been reviewed <br />by Council. Resolution 1066 recommends <br />denial of this proposal due to economic <br />unfeasibility. Staff has notified the <br />affected property owners. <br />Ziebarth moved to adopt Resolution 1066. <br />It was seconded by Hodges. <br />The motion carried. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Mr. Thorson and Mr. Kremer asked if <br />individual owners should look into <br />providing their own services. Council <br />advised they check with Staff. <br />Forslund: 1) Reported that Planning <br />Commission had a good meeting 1/23 <br />regarding a drainage management plan, <br />resulting in the establishment of <br />wetlands. The meeting was taped by <br />Goebel and will be typed. <br />2) Announced details of the Annual <br />Mounds View Appreciation Dinner Mar. 29. <br />Rowley: 1) Asked if it was Council's <br />desire to adopt Resolution 1063 re: <br />Hwy. 10. Staff was directed to send ROAR <br />10 Committee Chairman a copy of the Draft <br />Resolution 1063 for comments by 11 Feb. 80. <br />5. RESIDENTS COMMENTS (Cont'd) <br />7A.
