MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 February 11, 1980 <br />motion. <br />The motion carried. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Rowley next indicated to the City Council <br />that the Ramsey County Park Commission <br />would be discussing the acquisition of <br />Lakeside Park on February 25th at 7:00 AM <br />at the Ramsey County Court House. <br />Rowley mentioned to the City Council that <br />Lakeside Park was in the process of utiliz- <br />ing Operatics ID on the permanent equipment <br />belonging to the Commission. <br />She also brought to the City Council's at- <br />tention regarding Lakeside Park that one <br />vacancy remains open on the Commission. <br />The Commission had stated that they were <br />desirous of having a senior citizen on that <br />body. Mayor McCarty requested that Mrs. <br />Edna Young who is the President of the <br />Senior's Association in the City be sent a <br />letter stating the Commissions desire and <br />if she would announce that to her member- <br />ship. Nelson stated that this would be <br />done. <br />Councilman Rowley next responded to a memo <br />sent to the City Council from the Staff that <br />February 18th was a legal holiday, conse- <br />quently the City Council would have to re- <br />schedule their regularly scheduled Agenda <br />Session for that time period. Rowley moved <br />that the Council reschedule it's Agenda <br />Session from February 18th to February 19th <br />at the same time, because the 18th being a <br />legal holiday. Forslund seconded the motion. <br />5 ayes <br />The motion carried. 0 nays <br />
