MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page 3 March 10, 1980 <br />an individual study on utility charges <br />at the City of New Brighton and the <br />City of Roseville. Based on his study <br />he felt that the City might want to <br />'insider amending its collection policies <br />for utilities. The Mayor reminded the <br />Counci]mnber that Proposed Resolution 1091 <br />addressed that issue and the Council <br />would be taking some action on it later <br />in the evening. <br />Ziebarth noted that the Park Commission 9. COUNCILMAN ZIEBARTH'S REPORT <br />would begin holding public hearings <br />during the month of April on their <br />Comprehensive Plan. The purpose of <br />those public hearings were to solicit <br />public input regarding bcth the plan <br />and the development of the City's Park <br />System. <br />Ziebarth noted that March 15, 1980 would <br />be the Ramsey County Extension Committees <br />Green Life Gardener Day and that if the <br />public was interested that t'- ?y could <br />contact the County to get further infor- <br />mation. <br />CouncilminbarZiebauth proposed that the <br />Council Meetings could be shortened by <br />ending the submittal of new information <br />by 11:00 P.M. Council felt that this <br />was generally a good idea. <br />Ziebarth then moved that no new business <br />be introduced after 11:00 P.M. during a <br />Council Meeting. It was seconded by <br />Rowley. <br />The motion carried. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />The Mayor noted that the City was 10. ORDNANCE 295 /CHAPTER 26 <br />beginning its second reading of Proposed SECOND READING <br />Ordnance 295 /Chapter 26 of the City's <br />Municipal Code. Mayor said that the <br />City's Charter Commission had reviewed <br />the Proposal and had raised some con- <br />cern over 26.09. To that end the <br />Commission,through the Mayor (the Charter <br />Commission's liaison to the Council) <br />suggested language modification to that <br />provision. City Attorney noted that he <br />had received a copy of that Proposal but <br />only prior to the meeting and had not had <br />a chance to review their suggestions. <br />
