(Attorney not present) <br />Doty: <br />He would like to have the Council vote on <br />Resolution #1242 (allowing larger garbage <br />cans to be used within the city for a trial <br />period). This could not be voted on at <br />the last meeting because it did not receive <br />a 3/5 or more affirmative vote. <br />MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by <br />Hodges to adopt Resolution #1242 and to <br />waive the reading of the resolution. <br />Ayes -4 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />Forslund: <br />1. She asked Official Rose on the status <br />of the MTC Park and Ride Facilities. Official <br />Rose informed her that the Planning Commission <br />would be reviewing this proposal on March 4th <br />and the recommendations would be sent on to the <br />Council. The Council noted approval of this <br />proposal to implement this facility. <br />MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by <br />Forslund to direct staff to send a letter of <br />support to MTC for the park and ride facilities. <br />Ayes -4 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />Hodges: <br />He asked Administrator Pauley if he had contacted <br />Mr. Bogen, a local private consultant, who may <br />be interested in conducting the wetlands manage- <br />ment study. Pauley noted that Mr. Hogen had the <br />degree and credentials and would provide examples <br />of his work when he met with the Council to <br />discuss the project.
