He stated he had requested <br />the minutes of the September 15 Transportation <br />Subcommittee Meeting and the September 24 full <br />Council Meeting, but had not received them to <br />date. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Blanchard to direct <br />the City Administrator to send a letter <br />requesting the minutes of September 15 and <br />September 24, and a copy of the press release. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Doty /McCarty to have the City <br />Attorney obtain the minutes by legal proLedure <br />if they are not received as requested. <br />No vote was taken on the above motion. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to table the <br />above motion, pending action by Staff. <br />ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Doty reported there was a <br />possibility of the City purchasing a used <br />generator from the company he works for. He <br />stated he would check into it further. <br />Councilmember Doty reported he would be attending <br />a meeting on October 21 for the League of Cities <br />committee on pensions and labor relations. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Mayor McCarty reported that Councilmember Fors <br />lund had asked if it was possible to have an <br />insert put in with the October City billings <br />regarding the desirability of remote metering <br />and its possible cost. Clerk /Administrator <br />Pauley replied that there was already one <br />insert being put with the billings and recommend- <br />ed that an article be put in the next newsletter. <br />Mayor McCarty reported he had received from the <br />City Administrator a history of what has trans- <br />pired on the flood plain issue, and requested <br />hat a meeting be set up with Mr. Kelsey as soon <br />s possible. <br />Mayor McCarty reported that the Met Council offers <br />their services, with the consent of the Attorney, <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />
