Report of Attorney <br />be held on January 12, 1982 on the City of <br />Mounds View versus the Metropolitan Council <br />on an instrument landing system. <br />Attorney Meyers also reported that the attornies <br />for Kraus /Anderson had been into City Hall the <br />previous week to examine files relative to the <br />SWM charge, and they were given approximately <br />300 pages of information. <br />Councilmember Hodges reported that the fire 12. Reports of Council <br />department was able to purchase the "Jaws members <br />of Life" thanks to the many donations they <br />had received. <br />He also asked if the Council had considered <br />giving their input on the proposed use of <br />Edgewood Junior High School. Mayor McCarty <br />replied that it was a good idea to send a <br />resolution of support for moving the district <br />service center to Edgewood. <br />Motion /Second: Hodges /Forslund to approve <br />Resolution No. 1403 and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Forslund stated she was <br />still very concerned with the safety of the <br />steps on the warming houses. There was <br />discussion among the Council of the safety <br />of steps versus a ramp. <br />Motion /Second: Forslund /McCarty to install <br />ramps at the warming houses. <br />1 aye 4 nays <br />Councilmember Forslund voted for the <br />motion, while the remainder of the Council <br />voted against it. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Councilmember Doty commended the Police <br />Department on how observant they were in <br />spotting a recent leak at one of the well <br />houses, which enabled it to be repaired <br />before a great deal of damage was done. <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Denied <br />
