Mounds View City Council January 23, 1984 <br />Regular Meeting PagP Seven <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley advised that an article <br />had already appeared in the newsletter regarding <br />the snowbird policy, as well as a separate one regard- <br />ing the snowmobile policy, and they are published <br />each year. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the Public Works <br />department had drained, cleaned and inspected the <br />ground resevoir, removed snow from around the hydrants, <br />and had two water main breaks, which were handled in <br />house. <br />He reported 857 of the time of the street and sewer <br />department was spent in snow removal, with a sewer <br />break repair being done on Woodcrest. <br />Two new pieces of equipment came into the shop, and <br />one piece of used equipment was sold. LP conversions <br />are being done on the new vehicles after 500 miles. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the Community <br />Developm .t department, with permits being issued <br />for 20 new single family homes, 3 duplexes, a 70 unit <br />motel, a 10 unit apartment, 5 condominiums and <br />Mr. Donut, with 243 building permits total being <br />issued. He reviewed the inspections and reinspections <br />done for the year. There were 6 minor subdivisions <br />and 7 major, with 23 planning applications being <br />processed. Revenues are greatly exceeding the <br />projections for 1983. <br />The inventory in the Public Works department is just <br />getting started, as there were some problems in <br />getting set up. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the status of <br />the Public Works projects that are in process, and <br />advised that Staff is handling them. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Doty to have the second <br />reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 353, amending <br />the Municipal Code of Mounds View by amending <br />Chapter 41 entitled "Specific Rezonings and <br />waive the reading. <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Mayor McCarty <br />Linke aye <br />Hankner aye <br />Blahchard aye <br />Doty aye <br />aye <br />17. 2nd Reading and <br />Adoption of Ord. <br />No. 353 <br />Motion Carried <br />
