He added the notice was published in <br />the New Brighton Bulletin, as required. <br />Dan Hall of the Mermaid Supper Club, stated he had <br />been informed that a group of people from the trailer <br />court had been unhappy with the outdoor concert the <br />Mermaid recently had, and stated he would like to <br />hear the Council's views on the complaints and the <br />situation. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the Council had <br />not had an opportunity to review the report filed <br />by the Police Department. <br />Mr. Hall stated he would be unavailable for the next <br />few weeks, but would like an opportunity to come in <br />and review the situation with the Council. <br />Mayor McCarty thanked him for his concern and asked <br />that Mr. Hall contact Staff when he is available to <br />meet with the Council. <br />Jan Schuldt, 7887 Spring Lake Road, asked if the City <br />has a policy for cutting or trimming trees at inter- <br />sections, mentioning specifically the intersection of <br />Bronson Drive and Spring Lake Park Road as being a <br />problem. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied that the Police <br />Department checks the intersections and advises the <br />Public Works Department when action is required. <br />Ms. Schuldt asked why there was no street light at <br />the intersection of Silver Lake Road and County Road <br />I <br />Mayor McCarty explained the City does not go out and <br />look for areas to put lights in, but rather handles <br />it based on petitions received from residents. He <br />added they will check into this particular intersection. <br />Mayor McCarty asked that Item J be removed for dis- 6. Approval of <br />cussion. Consent Agenda <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to approve the consent <br />agenda, minus Item J, and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mayor McCarty asked whether Loose Ends on 10 was in <br />compliance with the City codes and statutes in terms <br />of a restaurant, and whether they were making their <br />application for a restaurant. <br />
