Mounds View City Council June 10, 1985 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />AAttorney Meyers advised it is the policy of the City <br />to encourage the owners of the establishments to <br />report any fights or disturbances on the premise to <br />the Police, and as far as public nuisance, the owner <br />is responsible for controling that, and the Council <br />will consider all facts at renewal time. <br />Mr. Conroy pointed out many things are beyond the <br />owners control. He stated the fence has been a <br />continuous problem and they are trying to maintain <br />it. He also clarified that food is served during <br />the week from 11 AM to 8 PM and on Sunday from <br />12 to 8 PM. <br />Councilmember. Haake asked if Staff had checked <br />the sites in question. Mayor Linke replied that he <br />had gone to some of them today, and found them <br />clean. <br />Mrs. Zwieg stated that she would like Mr. Conroy <br />to keep the 10' area on the other side of the <br />fence clean also. <br />Attorney Meyers recommended a list of the complaints <br />be sent to the owners and have them respond before <br />the next Council meeting. <br />Director Thatcher explained improvements are being <br />made so the inside corridors can be used, and it <br />will be finished shortly. <br />Larry Wasik, 5280 Edgewood Drive, stated a petition <br />had been circulated regarding the Anchor Inn and <br />asked how it had been changed from a restaurant to <br />a bar. <br />Attorney Meyers replied the petition would have been <br />for the rezoning of the property, and once a property <br />has been rezoned, there are many allowable uses for <br />that property. <br />Mr. Wasik asked to see a copy of the petition. Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley asked him to stop by City Hall <br />and Staff would attempt to locate it. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing at 8:11 PM. <br />Mayor Linke opened the public hearing for Loose -Ends <br />on 10 at 8:11 PM. <br />Bob Waste Jr., 5290 Pinewood Court, stated he had <br />complaints about the dumping of bottles at night, <br />fireworks being let off in the parking lot on <br />July 4th, 1984, partying in the park -ng lot after <br />hours, and loud music. <br />9.
