Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting Councilmember Haake had no report. Mayor Linke asked for Council approval of the appointment of Diane -Wuori to the Park and Rec Commission. Motion /Second: Quick /Blanchard to approve the appointment of Diane Wuori to the Park and Recreation Commission. 4 ayes 0 nays Mayor Linke asked for Council approval of the appointment of Bill Frits to the Energy Commission. Motion /Second: Quick /Haake to approve the appointment of Bill Frits to the Energy Commission. 4 ayes 0 nays Mayor Linke asked for Council approval of the appointment of Alice Frits to the Festivities Commission. Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to approve the appoint- ment of Alice Frits to the Festivities Commission. 4 ayes 0 nays Mayor Linke reported he had received the resignation of Josey Warren from the Planning Commission, and asked that the vacancy be advertised and applications solicited. Report of attending a League of Minnesota Cities meeting Administrator on August 16 regarding tax increment financing, at which time they will be discussing lobbying strategy. He recommended that the City not commit themselves to any funding at this time. Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church has 3' of berming in place at this time, and they will be landscaping it once the project is completed. Clerk /Administrator Pauley asked for Council approval to enter into a maintenance agreement contract with AMI Canon for $1,160 for the microfilm printer /reader. It was the concensus of the Council that they wished to discuss the item further at the next agenda session.
