Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />Councilmember Haake had no report. <br />Mayor Linke asked for Council approval of the appointment <br />of Diane -Wuori to the Park and Rec Commission. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Blanchard to approve the <br />appointment of Diane Wuori to the Park and Recreation <br />Commission. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke asked for Council approval of the appointment <br />of Bill Frits to the Energy Commission. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Haake to approve the <br />appointment of Bill Frits to the Energy Commission. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke asked for Council approval of the appointment <br />of Alice Frits to the Festivities Commission. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to approve the appoint- <br />ment of Alice Frits to the Festivities Commission. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke reported he had received the resignation <br />of Josey Warren from the Planning Commission, and <br />asked that the vacancy be advertised and applications <br />solicited. <br />August 12, <br />Page Five <br />rYm <br />Motion Carrie <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he would be 18. Report of <br />attending a League of Minnesota Cities meeting Administrator <br />on August 16 regarding tax increment financing, at <br />which time they will be discussing lobbying strategy. <br />He recommended that the City not commit themselves <br />to any funding at this time. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the Cross of <br />Glory Lutheran Church has 3' of berming in place <br />at this time, and they will be landscaping it once <br />the project is completed. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley asked for Council approval <br />to enter into a maintenance agreement contract with <br />AMI Canon for $1,160 for the microfilm printer /reader. <br />It was the concensus of the Council that they wished <br />to discuss the item further at the next agenda session. <br />
