.Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting 'mo tion /Second: Hankner /Blanchard to approve an penditure of $2,440 against 1985 funds, to replenish the fire department's contingency fund per the Fire Chief's memorandum and billing statement dated December 31, 1985, with the funds to come from the general fund fire department account. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Clerk /Administrator Pauley asked the Council to ratify the appointment of the precinct and counting center election judges for the special election, and explained why they were being ratified after the election, due to problems in lining everyone up beforehand. Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve Resolution 12. Consideration of No. 1973, ratifying the appointment of precinct and Resolution counting center election judges for the special county No. 1973 election and city park referendum by Clerk /Administrator and setting wage rates, and waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays irector Thatcher had no further report. Attorney Meyers reported he had been forwarded a letter received by the City from the owners of the Bel Rae Ballroom, Mermaid, Donatelle's and Loose Ends, asking the City to amend the liquor ordinance regarding individual licenses versus corporate licenses. He explained the owners are asking for corporate licenses due to insurance rates, but he would recommend leaving them as individual licenses, making one individual the responsible party. He reviewed problems that have been experienced in the past with corporate licenses. It was the consensus of the Council to remain with the individual liquor licenses.
