Mounds,View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />aerk /Administrator Pauley advised he had discussed the <br />issue of umbrella coverage with the City Attorney, and <br />it was felt they needed the additional public official <br />coverage, to include the Police Department. <br />Motion /Second: Haake /Quick to accept the recommendation <br />of Corporate Risk Managers, Inc. as presented tonight, <br />with the additional policy extension coverage, to be <br />in effect from May 1, 1986, as referred to in Mr. Colway's <br />memo to the Council dated April 28, 1986. <br />5 ayes <br />Motion /Second: Haake /Hankner to have the first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 407, amending the Municipal <br />Code of the City of Mounds View by amending Chapter <br />48 entitled, "Wetland Zoning Ordinance and waive <br />the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Blanchard to approve Reso- <br />lution No. 2004 regarding Planning Case No. 186 -86, <br />or Marcella Rybak, for the Stanley Fisher Addition <br />`=Major Subdivision, at Groveland Road and Ardan <br />Avenue, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Councilmember Haake stated she wanted to make sure <br />the park dedication issue is resolved, as it is <br />not covered in the resolution. <br />Mayor Linke replied it would go to the Park Board <br />for their action. <br />Jerry Skelly, of the Cable Commission, reviewed <br />the progress cable tv has made since it was first <br />proposed. He added he would like to see Mounds <br />View become more active in programming and go out <br />and seek volunteers in the community who would <br />participate. <br />Bootsie Anderson, administrator with the cable tv <br />program, reviewed what was known of the upcoming <br />sale of Group W and how it would affect Mounds <br />View and other surrounding communities. She <br />Stated they have been assured it will be "business <br />as usual" with the sale. She advised the Council <br />of what the City should be concerned with, and <br />what their options are.
