Mounds View City Council January 26, 1987 Regular Meeting Page Three Motion /Second: Hankner /Wuori to approve Resolution No. 2151, establishing a policy on employee benefits, and waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays Director Thatcher explained the project will go from County Road 2 and Bona Road to Sherwood Road and Jackson Drive, where portions of the ditch are completely filled in. He stated the cost will not be assessed to the property owners, but the funds will come from the City and Rice Creek Watershed District. Motion /Second: Quick /Blanchard to award the contract for Judicial Ditch No. 1, Branch 5, to Park Construction Company, in an amount not to exceed $27,858.50, with the City's portion of funding to come from the storm water management fund. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion /Second: Quick /Hankner to remove this item from the table. 5 ayes 0 nays Chuck Cook explained that based on the requests of the Council at their last meeting, they have altered the drainage pond area and changed the contour of the pond, and now it is at an average depth of 1.8 feet, with a 4.0 maximum depth: Councilmember Hankner asked that it be noted that on both this particular item, and many others on the Council agendas, that the Council had discussed them in great length at an agenda session, and thus did not have a need for a lengthy discussion during the regular meeting. Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to approve Resolution No. 2153, approving the final plat and development agreement for the Red Oak Park subdivision, and waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried 10.
