Mounds View City Council May 26, 1987 <br />Regular Meeting Page Five <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied he wasn't sure, but <br />if it is a County ditch, he would encourage the residents <br />to contact the County Commissioner, Duane McCarty, as <br />well as having the City contact him. He stated he would <br />get back to Mr. Winiecki once he determines whose <br />responsibility it is. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened the <br />regular meeting at 7:49 PM. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley asked that R. J. Riches be <br />added under Item K for a restaurant license, as the <br />property as been sold, and the new owners have filled <br />all the requirements. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the items on the <br />consent agenda. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Blanchard to approve the <br />consent agenda as presented, and waive the reading of <br />the resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />:p Motion /Second: Quick /Wuori to approve Resolution No. <br />'2201, approving the preliminary plat for Dailey Knolls <br />Addition, and ,ive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 ays <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to authorize the Police <br />Department to promote Larry Siluk to the position of <br />Police Investigator effective June 1, 1987, with the <br />salary to be determined by the local union contract, <br />and with a one year probationary period. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Tom Casey, 2816 Ardan Avenue, stated he was told by <br />the Council on April 20 that the drainage pond he and <br />hiL: neighbors had filled in was going to be put back <br />in, and that part of the work has been done but he is <br />not happy with it, and he asked when the rest would be <br />done. <br />Mayor Linke explained the ditch was to be reconstructed <br />that was filled in by the home owners, and that once <br />the rework was started, it was determined that no work <br />was required in Mr. Casey's back yard, and resodding <br />was only to be done where the rework was done. <br />9.
