1 <br />Mounds View City Council <br />Re Meetin <br />Councilmember Hankner asked that Item G become a regular <br />item rather than a consent agenda item, and read he r <br />memo of September 28 regarding th to hire <br />Barr Engineering to're�iew the Greenfield Estates <br />proposal,` she also had available the list of <br />companies a nd individuals that had been recommended <br />by Mr. Ayaz <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley asked Mr. Senden if he had <br />a written authorization, yet for the 45 day extension <br />Harstad Company has agreed to. <br />Mr. Senden stated he does not have it in writing yet, <br />but he can verbally state they have agreed to a 45 <br />day extension. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Hankner to approve the hiring <br />of Barr Engineering to review the Greenfield Estates <br />preliminary plat pursuant to the proposal dated <br />September 21, 1987. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she had removed Item H <br />as she would like to see it have more visability, so <br />the public becomes aware of the change prohibiting <br />glass containers in City parks. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported each City park <br />will be signed, stating that glass containers are <br />prohibited. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated the Council hopes this <br />policy will be adhered to in resolution form, but if <br />it is not, they may have to make it into an ordinance. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Wuori to approve Resolution <br />No. 2245, prohibiting glass containers in City parks, <br />and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported there was an <br />error by Staff in the original ordinance, so the <br />County would not accept it, so Ordinance No. 429 <br />has been drafted to amend the original ordinance. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to approve the first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 429, amending Ordinance <br />No. 419 vacating easements for the Jim Lund second <br />addition, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />September 28, 19 <br />Page Three <br />Motion Carried <br />Carried <br />9.
