Mounds View City Council December 28, 1987 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />"'Councilmember Hankner asked for Item D if the <br />employees had been involved in their <br />position <br />accountability write -ups. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained the supervisors <br />were required to involve the employees in the write <br />up, and if a disagreement should occur, it would be <br />taken to the department head or himself to resolve, <br />but no such disagreements had occurred. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve Item C, the <br />partial payment No. 2 in the amount of $101,982.27 <br />to Ramsey County for County Road I reconstruction, <br />and Item D, to approve the position accountability <br />write -ups dated December, 1987 for the Utility <br />Accounting Clerk, Accountant, Finance Director /Treasurer, <br />Accounting Clerk, and Clerk /Administrator. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the <br />first public hearing at 7:09 PM. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the history of <br />the vacation of easement on St. Stephens Street, and <br />the necessity of the proposed amendment to the <br />original ordinance. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Blanchard to approve the first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 433, amending Ordinance No. <br />359 vacating a portion of St. Stephen Street and <br />drainage easement, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 7:15 PM. <br />7. Public Hearing: <br />Ordinance No. <br />433 <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the 8. Public Hearing: <br />second public hearing at 7:15 PM. Odas Newton, <br />Cur for <br />City Planner Herman reviewed the request of Mr. Newton Oversized <br />to construct an oversize accessory building at 8319 Accessory <br />Groveland Road, and she presented the site plan. She Building <br />explained the oversized building would be used only for <br />storage of boats, lawn mowers, and so forth, and she <br />reviewed the allowable uses of the building. She added <br />that the Planning Commission has reviewed the request <br />and recommends approval. <br />Councilmember Blanchard asked if the attached garage <br />would remain as it is. <br />
