Mounds View City Council April 25, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Six <br />Quick recommended placing the sweepings <br />on a vacant area in the Greenfield Park area, until <br />a determination is made. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Blanchard to authorize the <br />deposit of the sweepings to the east of Lot 26 in <br />the Greenfield Park area, the portion of the south- <br />east corner of Greenfield Park not located within <br />the wetland buffer zoning district. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Wuori to authorize Staff to <br />contact Tom Peterson, of Ramsey Soil and Water <br />Conservation District, and have him do a complete <br />evaluation of Wetland 1 -21. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained Staff is <br />requesting a study of the Ardan Avenue drainage <br />area be done to determine the proper size of the <br />pipe to be placed under Long Lake Road, to handle <br />the Ardan Avenue drainage area. <br />Mayor Linke explained they are attempting to find a <br />good way to use the existing wetland areas for <br />holding area, and right now there is no wetland in <br />that area that could be used, and it will take time <br />to find a functional plan. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated it was hoped that <br />any work which needed to be done on Long Lake Road <br />for the storm sewer could be done the same as it was <br />on County Road I, using Municipal State aid funds, <br />with no assessment to the property owners. <br />Pat Rickaby, 8343 Groveland Road, asked when the work <br />would be done. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied the County has <br />scheduled the reconstruction of Long Lake Road for <br />1989 -1990, and the City would have to do this work <br />beforehand. <br />Motion /Second: Wuori /Quick to authorize Short, <br />Elliott, Hendrickson to develop a storm water <br />management plan for the Ardan Avenue drainage area <br />at a cost not to exceed $15,000, to be charged to <br />the Storm Water Management Fund. <br />'4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />17.
