Mounds View City Council September 12, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Four <br />Mr. Phillipi replied there should not be, as they <br />would only be using a 12" water service, and using <br />18 gallons per cycle. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley added the water main that <br />services the area does not get to the residential <br />area until after is passes Amoco. He added there is <br />not a build up problem there, and the 18 gallons per <br />cycle would not be a significant increase in what is <br />used already with all the surrounding businesses. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing at 7:41 PM. <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the 11. Public <br />last public hearing at 7:41 PM. Hearing: <br />1988 Long <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained the purpose of Term Financial <br />having a five year plan, to assist the City in budget- Plan <br />-ng for major purchases that are not needed on an <br />annual basis, and he reviewed the 1988 long term plan. <br />Mayor Linke added that it is very helpful to the City <br />to be able to preplan for the large purchases. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened the <br />regular meeting al 7:44 PM. <br />Mayor Linke read the proclamation for "Kids Day on 12. Proclamation <br />September 24, and he explained the intent behind the Kids Day, <br />proclamation, encouraging children to grow up to be September 24, <br />a helpful part of society. 1988 <br />Mayor Linke requested that Item F be removed from the <br />consent agenda. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley read the items on the pro- <br />posed consent agenda. <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard /Hankner to approve the <br />consent agenda, minus Item F, and waive the reading of <br />the resolutions. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mayor Linke asked for a clarification cf Itcm F. Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley apologized and explained it had been <br />typed incorrectly, and it would actually be to approve <br />Pay estimate No. 7 to C. W.
