Consideration of Resolution No. 4837, Approving Contract with The Brimeyer Company, Ltd. for Executive Search Services. Mayor Linke stated that the city council authorized staff to seek proposals for search group for the process of recruiting a new City Administrator. Six proposals were received and The Brimeyer Gmup, Inc. submitted the best proposal. He noted that the city used The Brimeyer Group in the past, and they provided good service. MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to approve Resolution No. 4837, Approving the Contract With The Brimeyer Company, Ltd. for Executive Search Services. VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Ms. Trude noted that the resolution does not state where the funds will come from for these services. Ms. Orduno stated this will be coming out of the fund balance. MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Quick to amend the motion as passed to include a statement that the funds would be coming from the Fund Balance of 1995. VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried H. Resolution 4846, Authorizing the Purchase of a File Server Upgrade. Samantha Orduno explained that this item was discussed at the council work session. The budget allows for $4,000 for the purchase of a new network file server. Staff sent out requests for quotes and received from several companies that would place the file server within the $4,000. In addition, the city needs to upgrade its software packages to make sure that they have current registered software packages. That cost will be $4,463.00. Both of these items are budgeted, but due to the amounts they require council approval. MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Quick to Approve Resolution 4846, Authorizing the Purchase of a File Server Upgrade. VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried I. Resolution 4847, Commending Samantha Orduno for Outstanding Performance as the Clerk Administrator for the City of Mounds View. Mayor Linke proceeded to read Resolution 4847.
