The day care center vvould provide care for up tio 95 chiidreq ages six weeks `ti <br />througi� kindergarten, v�th hours from b:30 t�Iv1 to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday on a year <br />rour�d basis. When th� program reach�s full c�paciiy of 95 children, ihe number of full time sta� <br />members will be 19 people. Siaff has received notification from the Minnesota I�epartment oF <br />Human Services that Children's Hame Society has applied for the necessary license from that <br />agency. � <br />The proposal would use approximately 9375 square %et in an existing buiiding. This buiiding, <br />which was purchased by the �ity in 1996, is being renovated and wiil becoene the Mounds View <br />Community Centier. The Children's Home Society is one of t�wo tenant users expected in fihe <br />buitding. The anticipated occupancy date for Ctuldren's Home Socieiy is Aug�ast 18. <br />Criteri�a�'or Iteviewe <br />� �dours: No overnight stays are expected at this time. There has been some discussion <br />about opening a crisis nursery which would inciude ovemighi stays.
