<br />82 - Performance Standards In
<br />Industrial Districts
<br />8.2-1 Noise. Any use establised in
<br />an Industrial District shall be
<br />so operated that no noise re-
<br />sulting from . said operation
<br />which would constitute a nuis-
<br />ance is perceptible beyond the
<br />Premises. This does not apply
<br />to. incidental.traffic,. parking,.
<br />and off-street loading operation.
<br />82-2. Smoke and Particulate
<br />Matter. The emission of smoke or
<br />particulate matter is prohibited
<br />where such -emission is per.
<br />ceptible beyond the premises to
<br />the degree as. to constitute a
<br />nuisance.
<br />8.2-3 ToxicorNoxious Matter.
<br />No use shall, for any period of
<br />time; discharge across the boun-
<br />daries of the lot wherein it is
<br />located, toxic or noxious:. matter
<br />Of such concentration as to be
<br />detrimental to or endanger the
<br />Public health, - safety, comfort,
<br />or welfare, or cause injury or
<br />damagetoproperty or business.
<br />8,2=4 Odors_ The emission of
<br />ordorous matter in such quanti-
<br />ties as to be readily detectable
<br />beyond- the boundaries of the%
<br />immediate site is Prohibited. -
<br />8.2,5' Vibration. Any use creating
<br />periodic earth -shaking vibrations,
<br />such as are created by heavy
<br />drop forges, or heavy hydraulic
<br />surges; shall be prohibited if
<br />suchvibrationsare perceptibe
<br />beyond the boundaries. of the
<br />immediate site, -
<br />&2.6 Glare or Heat. Any opera-
<br />tion producing intense glare
<br />or heat shall be -performed
<br />within a completely - enclosed
<br />building.
<br />8.2-7. Explosives. Na activities -in-
<br />volving the storage, utilization
<br />or, manufacture of materials or
<br />products.. which. could- - decom-
<br />pose - by detonation shall be
<br />permitted except such as are
<br />specifically licensed- by the Vi-
<br />llage Council;,. Such materials
<br />may be reconstructeasou uo��

<br />ed to: all primary explosives,
<br />such as lead oxide and lead
<br />sulphate; all high explosives and
<br />boosters, .such as TNT, RDS,

<br />8.2-8. Off Street Loading.. No
<br />loading berth for vehicles over
<br />tura (2) ton capacity shall be
<br />closer than 100 feet to any res-
<br />idence district unless completely
<br />enclosed by building walls not
<br />less than eight (8) feet in
<br />height.
<br />8.2-9 Yards. Between each -newly
<br />erected building and thestreet
<br />upon which it faces, there shall
<br />be provided a front _yard which
<br />shall be landscaped and kept
<br />clear of all structures, storage,
<br />and employee parking spaces as
<br />noted in Section 8.1. This front
<br />yard: shall be not .less than 40
<br />feet in depth. Grass, shrubs,
<br />and.. trees -shall be provided and
<br />Maintained by the property
<br />owners and/or his tenants.
<br />8.2-10 Screening.. Screening must -
<br />be providedand maintained by
<br />the owner of an industrial build-
<br />mg -adjacent to a residential
<br />area. Such screening,' either of
<br />planting, fence or wall, shall'
<br />Substantially block eye -level vis-
<br />ion between the residential and
<br />industrial areas. -
<br />Plans for screening must be fil-
<br />ed with building plans with the
<br />Building Inspector and must he
<br />referred to the Village Council
<br />for approval. The Village Coun-
<br />cil may refer the screening plan
<br />to the Planning Commission- for
<br />review and recomeldation.
