This will be crnnpleted at <br />the'SeQtember llth meeting, <br />Motion by Co�issioner Haake to tentatively approve the five <br />year capital improvements program pending final approval at <br />the September Ilth meeting. Conunissidner Coplin seconded the <br />motion which passed unanimously. . <br />The Director reminded Corrmissioners that the Name-A-Park Contest <br />and Volunteer In Parks awards would be presmted by t�ie City . <br />Council ae the Septaober 8th CoUncil meetin�. <br />The Director reported that the school board offic:ally approved <br />the school-pool cunagement by municipalities at their August 2bth <br />meeting: �- ` <br />Trails Co�issioner Haake moved requesting the City Council to appeal <br />to citizens to esteh7ish a subco�ittee to develop a 1i�ai1 <br />Systems Plan for Mounds View� with the Eomnittee comprised of <br />enthusiasts of ski-touring; anowmobiling� bicycling� and <br />walkers/joggers. The motion was seconded by Co�issioncr Fedor <br />and passed unanimously. <br />Chairman Peterson suggested that this sub-co�ittee co�ence � <br />with their first meeting in October. He also reco�ended <br />Co�issioner Copiin work as a laison from the co�ission to the <br />co�ittee. <br />Adjournment Motion by Cmmissioner Weflen and seconded by Co�iasioner Fedos <br />to adjourn the meetfng. The motion passed nnanimously. The <br />Park and Rccreation Co�ission adjourned at 12:45 P.M. <br />
