CITY: Chanhassen <br />CONTACT: Mr. Francis tallahan <br />MTE: September 5, 1979 <br />PHONE: 474-8886 <br />1. Picnic areas, baseball and softball fields. <br />2. Recreation Director issues these permits. All these permits go through <br />him. No fee. We charge a fee of $2 per car to get into the park. This <br />fee is collected at the entrance to the park by the gatekeeper. <br />No limit, this has never been a problem. <br />Na limit. <br />But on weekends, no reservations for the picnic areas. It is just too <br />crowded. Too many people want to use tbe picnic area, so we just let <br />them fight it out the�elves. <br />We have a resident season fee for a pass to get into the park. <br />Residents $2 for the sumner. <br />Non-residents $12 for the su�rener. <br />4. Me only allow one tournament per year and that is tbe Fireman's tournament. <br />We don't allar any other tournaments. <br />5. We don't have any so we don't have to charge a fee for them. <br />6. No fee but we require that an insurance policy be given for an event <br />(for use of alcoholic beverages at an event) to the city. <br />7. No clean up fee but we're getting to the point where we wi11 charge a <br />$50 clean up fee deposit for large groups using the facilities. Then, if <br />the facility is not cleaned up, the city will use the $50 to pay a clean up <br />crew and refund the remainder to the group. <br />8. Has an old ordinance that is being revised. <br />9. Yes. <br />
