The items that are enclosed include: <br />1. Resolution M1056 and maintenance memo. This is a memo <br />regarding rink maintenance for the upcoming winter season. <br />The Council approved the resolution in concept but did <br />not take any formal action. It is staff's intent to spend <br />a good portion of the January meeting to review the status <br />of our Park maintenance division. <br />Silver View Park Information (Memo Lo Hahn Imm, Memo to <br />Council from Building and Zoning Official, City Zoning Map, <br />Conceptual Land Use Map for Kraus/Anderson). This infor- <br />mation was disseminated to the Council at the December 17, <br />1979 meeti:_p,. Mr. Rose and myself gave a presentation to <br />the Council :egarding Silver View and they authorized pre- <br />liminary approval of the Conceptual Land Use Map as presented. <br />Staff has not met with Kraus/Anderson since the Commission <br />last met, but it appears that a meeting will be established <br />in the next two weeks. Our next step will be�: to hire a <br />planning firm for the final site plans prior to construction <br />in April �r May. Staff has also been meeting. at length with <br />State Planning regarding the acquisition grant revision and it <br />has been very smooth to date with final approval of the new <br />location :'Cheduled in about six weeks. <br />3. Saunders and Thalden - The City Council formally approved the <br />Planning contract as amended by the Commission on December 16, <br />1979 and I have enclosed a copy of the final agreement. In <br />addition the first draft of the survey is enclosed for your <br />review. As,we would like to begin the survey process in the <br />next two weeks, I would appreciate your comments and reactions <br />by Wednesday, January 2, if possible.._ <br />If you have any questions regarding the elclosed information, feel <br />free to give me a call at 784-3055 eztPnsion 4a.
