Anderson <br />aoneluded his re�ort by sta:tng ehat the June I, 1980 <br />deadifne was requlred to consumate the land deal so <br />tha[ construction couid commence. <br />Applican[ was asked to camKnt. Dale Cremers, for [he <br />Applicant, had no cament at this time. <br />Haake questfoned how the actual land swap, purchase and <br />dedicatlon was [o occur. Director Anderson explained <br />[he aDDroxima[e acreages and [he time frame it was hoped <br />[o be completed in. <br />Fedor requested how the ownership of the pond was to <br />oceur and Che value of the dedication. Director <br />Anderson sta[ed the ownership would be by the City and <br />that I[ was hoped to be part of the preliminary concept <br />agreement. The value of [he dedlcation depends on the <br />appratsai used and the land i[self. Anderson referred <br />to the appraisals the City had received. <br />Burmeister had no questions or statements at this time. <br />Skiba had no questions or statements at this time. <br />Glazer had no questions or statements at this time. <br />NcGarthy had no questions or stxtements at this time. <br />Mountln asked Dtrector Anderson r+here the City was with <br />regard to the Lomprehensive Plan ►ark process. Anderson <br />replied that Staff �nd touncil �+ould be revia+ing the <br />survey in the near future. Publtc hearings have been <br />scheduled. He further noted that this survey did not <br />cover Sllver Vlew Park. That ztudy will be done by <br />L.A.V.C.O.N. funds and a separats issue. <br />Dsle Craners and Dfck Cush, o` Krsus-Anderson, were at <br />the meetfng on Eehalf of the la -i a+ners. Cremers stated <br />thst he felt tt would be easter and more profftable for <br />Kraus-Anderson to develop the land under the existing <br />zonings. Kraus-Anderson has chosen not to, due to <br />Mounds View Staff's insistence tha[ Kraus-Anderson use <br />the Canprehensive Plan designation of Mixed P.U.�. Hc <br />stated that Kraus-Anderson is rwt a residential devcloper <br />but, due to the Cfty's interes[ in that usage and thr <br />potential marketabfl(ty of the restdential use, Krous- <br />Anderson has decided to develop a maJor portion of their <br />holdinys as restdential. Kraus-Anderson also supports <br />the park reloeation and acres noted in the Staff reports. <br />He asked [be Commtssion to give Aim directlon fran which <br />to furth�r his pl�n before he spends additional monies. <br />In turn, I�e wouid try to accommod�te these concerns as <br />best Ae could.
