The motion passed unanimously. <br />8 ayes <br />Q r.ayes <br />CITY CODE UPDATE Staff reviewed the report relating to Chapters <br />23 and 24 of the City Municipal Code. Chapter 23 <br />relates to the Parks and Playground Fund whose <br />purpose is to deposit all cash payments received <br />by the City Council pursuant to the provision <br />of Chapter 42.13. Chapter 24 establishes the <br />Recreation Activity Fund which allows the City <br />Council to deposit all Yees charged by the City <br />for recreation activities autY�orized by the City. <br />StaFf reviewed the minor modifications recortm�ended <br />for Chapter 23 and a motion was made by Chairperson <br />Burmeister, seconded by Cotmnissioner Scott that <br />Chapter 23 should be forwarded to the City Attorney <br />and City Council for their approval as ammended <br />by staff. The motion was approved unanimously. <br />8 ayes <br />0 nayes <br />Staff then proceeded to review the staff report <br />relating to Chapter 24 and the Recreation Activity <br />Fund. As there were a nvmber of proposed changes <br />the Park and Recreation Comnission did not feel <br />comfortable in acting on this issue without more <br />time to review it. <br />The Commission requested that Staff provide back- <br />ground information ar least two days prior Co the <br />established date. Staff concurred and said they <br />would make sure and get packets out earlier. <br />
