July 20,2012 EDC Meeting <br /> Item 5A—Mustang Drive <br /> • Page 2 of 2 <br /> Discussion <br /> At the April 20, 2012, EDC meeting, the EDC created a priority list for using the EDA's <br /> unobligated Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds. The EDC's top priority was business <br /> retention and a subcategory of business retention was the improvements to Mustang Drive <br /> and Mustang Circle. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends that the EDC provide a recommendation to the City Council that it <br /> consider using a portion of the EDA's unobligated TIF fund balance to assist in the cost to <br /> reconstruct Mustang Drive and Mustang Circle. <br /> Respectfully Submitted,llp <br /> Heidi Steinmetz, Economic Development Specialist <br /> S <br />
