If this situation were to occur, we would discuss the findings of the capacity analysis performed under the original Scope of Services with the City and would not proceed with the additional analysis without autltorization from the City. • Fee for' additional sanitary sewer analysis, if required: $2,000.00 Schednle It is our understanding that if this development proceeds, the City wilt want to begin construction of these utility extensions nn approximately in mid to late summer of 2006. In order to allow the maximum time possible for design of final construction plans, review, concurrence, agency approvals, etc,, it is our recommendation that this feasibility study be considered by the City Council at the earliest possible opportunity for the purpose of ordering the study. Once the study is ordered, we anticipate it will take six to eight weeks to complete, not including potential additional analysis. City Responsibilities This quote for services has been prepared using the assumptions that the City will have the following responsibilities inregard to the project: • Malce existing utility record pla~is available to Bonestroo. Bonestroo would pick up the plans, copy or reproduce required information from them as necessary, and return the • original plans to the City as part of the project services. • Assist Bonestroo in accessing the existing utility features, including but not limited manholes, valves, and hydrants. • Assist Bonestroo with operation of the water system to perform the hydrant tests, • Coordinate with tl~e City of Blaine to obtain information regarding their water system, including hydrant flow data. • Determine financial responsibilities for the improvements. $onestroo would provide cost estimate information in breakdowns !configurations as necessary to assist City. Developer Responsibilities This quote for services leas been prepared using the assumptions that the developer will have the following responsibilities inregard to the project: • Provide soil boring information on their site for use in determining impact on potential utility installation. Specifically near the wetland in the southeast portion of the site. • Provide inforn~ation on anticipated daily domestic water demand. • Provide operating requirements for fire suppression system in the buildings. • Provide anticipated sanitary sewer discharge rates from the site (if known) or other information necessary to determine such rates. • Provide other information on the proposed use of tl~e site as requested in order for Bonestroo to perform the analysis as accurately as possible. •
