Planner Sevald indicated the new <br />lot would be .32 acres in size. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller inquired if the new lot would be sold off and built on. Planner Sevald <br />stated this was his understanding. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller asked if a new curb cut would be created for the new lots driveway. <br />Mr. Buchanan stated he would like to have this work completed sooner rather than later. He <br />hoped to have the work completed prior to selling the new lot. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8532, <br />a Resolution Approving a Minor Subdivision of 7800 Eastwood Road. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D. Resolution 8530, Accept Improvements and Approve Final Payment for 2015 <br />Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council accept improvements and approve the <br />final payment for the 2015 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project. He reported the contractor has <br />finished all work on this project, including all punch list items. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8530, <br />Accept Improvements and Approve Final Payment for 2015 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation <br />Project. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty asked if staff was satisfied with the work completed by HydroClean. Public <br />Works Director Erickson stated he was pleased with the work completed by the contractor. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />E. Resolution 8533, Approve Public Works Facility Design Services Request for <br />Proposals and Authorize Advertisement. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council approve the Public Works Facility Design <br />Services RFP and authorize staff to advertise the RFP. He indicated the deadline for the RFP’s <br />would be April 15 th and they would be reviewed by the Council in early May. He discussed the <br />proposed project timeline, along with the green initiatives that would be pursued at the facility. <br />He estimated the building would cost $4 million. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller supported the proposed sustainable features, but asked if the expense <br />would be covered by the original bonding amount. Public Works Director Erickson stated this <br />would depend on the size and scale of the feature.
