He recommended the Council approve the lease <br />agreement renewal with Dippin Chocolate. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8498, <br />Approving a Lease Agreement Renewal with Dippin Chocolate, LLC, for Use of Kitchen Space <br />in the Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller appreciated staff’s detailed report regarding the proposed lease <br />agreement renewal. She believed that both parties benefited from the arrangement. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty agreed. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 8497, Approving Consultant Services Agreement with Greater <br />Metropolitan Housing Corporation for Housing Resource Center Services in <br />2016. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson stated the City has been working with the Housing Resource Center <br />since 2001. He discussed the services provided by the Housing Resource Center for the City of <br />Mounds View, along with the number of residents served over the past year. He commented <br />after speaking with the staff at the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation (GMHC) it has <br />been determined that the City could be paying less. Staff recommended approval of the <br />consultant services agreement with GMHC. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested further information on the loan balance available to <br />Mounds View residents. City Administrator Ericson reviewed the loan balance and reported this <br />was a revolving loan fund, which meant as residents make payments, these funds become <br />available again to residents. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty hoped an effort would be made by staff to further advertise the resources <br />available to residents by GMHC. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8497, <br />Approving Consultant Services Agreement with Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation for <br />Housing Resource Center Services in 2016. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />8.
