Mounds View City Council October 23, 2017 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />10. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked the Mounds View residents that attended the Lions Club <br />Spaghetti Dinner. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported he would be attending an NYFS Board meeting on <br />Thursday, October 26th. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he would also be attending a YMCA Advisory Meeting on <br />Monday, October 30th at 11:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Bergeron explained on Wednesday, November 1st he would be at the League of <br />Minnesota Cities in St. Paul for a morning workshop put on by the Minnesota GreenStep Cities <br />regarding Climate Data. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller noted City Planner Sevald, Business Development Coordinator Beeman, Interim <br />City Administrator Zikmund, Council Member Bergeron and herself attended a meeting with the <br />Ramsey County Transportation Engineering Department two weeks ago. A representative from <br />Crossroad Pointe and INH was also in attendance, along with Blake Huffman and a <br />representative from Mary Jo McGuire’s office. She provided a summary of the matters discussed <br />at this meeting regarding access to Mounds View Boulevard and it was noted the City would be <br />receiving a response from the County on Tuesday, October 24th. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller reported the Festival in the Park Committee met last Tuesday and elected <br />officers. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller explained the 60th Anniversary Committee would be meeting at City Hall on <br />Tuesday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. She invited all those interested in serving on this committee <br />to help in planning this celebration. She indicated the committee was seeking photos or stories <br />from residents at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller stated she would be attending a Five Mayor’s meeting in November and noted the <br />meeting would be held at the Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer reported Sharon Klumpp from Springsted Waters would like to attend an <br />upcoming worksession meeting. The Council recommended Ms. Klumpp attend the Monday, <br />November 6th worksession meeting. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer reviewed the items that would be addressed by the Council at their <br />November 6th worksession meeting.
