RESOLUTION 8848 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE UPDATED JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR POLICE SUPPORT <br />MANAGER AND POLICE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT AND AUTHORIZING <br />STAFF TO ADVERTISE THE VACANT POSITION OF POLICE ADMINISTRATIVE <br />ASSISTANT <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department has a vacancy after the <br />resignation of the Police Support Specialist; and <br />WHEREAS, a need exists to update and modify the civilian police positions to <br />match the needs of the agency; and <br />WHEREAS, a Police Support Manager would bring needed accountability and <br />increased competency to front desk staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council was informed and supported the <br />reorganization process of the positons at the October 9 City Council meeting. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the updated Police Support Manager and Police Administrative Assistant job <br />descriptions and authorizes staff to advertise for the Police Administrative Assistant <br />position. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of October, 2017. <br />Carol Mueller, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zikmund, Interim City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
