(a) No hauler shall collect from residences or multiple dwellings after <br />8:00 p.m. or before 6:30 a.m. of any dav, and no hauler shall operate <br />in a residential district on Sundays or legal holidays <br />No licensed hauler shall operate on streets to serve residences on any <br />day other than collection days except to collect a missed pick up or <br />special pick up, or for collection on a day in substitution for a legal <br />holiday which falls on a collection day <br />Lej All haulers shall operate vehicles on city streets within the weight <br />allowed by Minnesota State Statute. <br />Licensees shall have water -tight, packe-^-type vehicles, or in the case <br />of recycling, appropriate container vehicles, in good condition and <br />which prevent loss in transit of liquid or solid cargo All vehicles <br />shall be kept clean and as free from offensive odors as possible, and <br />shall not be allowed to stand in any street longer than reasonablv <br />necessary to collect garbage, refuse, recyclables or yard waste <br />Lej Persons may haul garbage, refuse, recyclables, or yard waste from <br />their own residence, multiple dwelling or commercial establishment <br />if hauled in containers which are water -tight on all sides and the <br />bottom and have tight -fitting covers on top, and if hauled in vehicles, <br />with leak -proof bodies which do not permit the loss of cargo <br />(fZ All garbage and refuse shall be dumped or unloaded only at <br />designated sanitary landfills or county designated facilities <br />Recyclables shall be collected by licensed recyclers only or in an <br />organized recycling drive. Except as provided in paragraph (e) above <br />(h) Yard wastes may be composted privately or may be disposed of at a <br />composting facility or through a licensed non -recyclable and yard <br />waste hauler. <br />{i Each vehicle for which a hauler's license is issued shall exhibit such <br />license in a prominent position on the vehicle <br />In the case of service to residences, weekly collection of garbage, <br />refuse, and yard waste will be provided on collection days <br />In the case of service to residences, each licensee shall separately <br />collect and dispose of yard waste and shall include a separate charge <br />to the customer. <br />Sec. 11-36. Reporting of Recyclables and Yard Waste. <br />All licensees shall report to the City, on forms provided by the City, <br />the quantity of all recyclables and yard waste abated from landfills Such <br />quantities shall be reported by tonnage, except that yard waste may be <br />5 <br />
