RESOLUTION NO. 8972 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE <br />RECEPTIONIST POSITION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed reorganization of the Finance <br />Department at their May 21, 2018 Council Retreat; and <br />WHEREAS, Payroll Clerk Debbie Jasper is retiring from the Finance Department <br />in September; and, <br />WHEREAS, Accountant Agnes Quasabart agreed to incorporate the payroll <br />function into her job duties; and, <br />WHEREAS, Receptionist Kerrie Kane agreed to take on the utility billing portion <br />of Ms. Jasper's position; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Kane would transition into the Utility Billing Technician position; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Cable TV Coordinator Vanessa Van Alstine observed significant <br />increases to the number of meetings televised; and, <br />WHEREAS, the current Receptionist job description has been edited to include <br />Audio/Visual responsibility which will alleviate 8 — 15 hours of AV responsibilities from <br />the Cable TV Coordinator. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the updated Receptionist/AV Support Job Description and authorizes the <br />advertising of the position. <br />Adopted this 29th day of May, 2018 <br />Carol A.
