To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance 911, 7 <br />an Ordinance to Consider Revising Section 502.12, Subdivision 2 of the Liquor Code Relating to 8 <br />Sunday Sales and direct staff to publish a summary. 9 <br /> 10 <br />ROLL CALL: Gunn/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller/ Flaherty. 11 <br /> 12 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 13 <br /> 14 <br />C. Resolution 8491, Setting the 2016 City Council Meeting Dates, Council/Staff 15 <br />Retreat and the 2016 Town Hall Meeting. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane requested the Council set the 2016 City Council meeting 18 <br />schedule along with the Council/Staff Retreat and Town Hall Meeting dates. She discussed the 19 <br />meeting dates that were impacted by holidays. She suggested the staff/Council retreat be held on 20 <br />February 29th. She proposed the Town Hall meeting be held on either March 21st or April 18th. 21 <br /> 22 <br />The Council supported holding the staff/Council retreat on February 29th. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested the Town Hall meeting be held on March 21st. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Council Member Hull and Council Member Mueller agreed. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Council Member Gunn supported the Town Hall meeting being held on April 18th to allow staff 29 <br />additional time to prepare after the staff/Council retreat. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Mayor Flaherty agreed and asked if staff needed additional time to prepare for the Town Hall 32 <br />meeting. City Administrator Ericson believed that the March 21st date would be sufficient and 33 <br />staff did not require additional time to prepare. 34 <br /> 35 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8491, 36 <br />Setting the 2016 City Council Meeting Dates, Council/Staff Retreat (February 29) and the 2016 37 <br />Town Hall Meeting (March 21). 38 <br /> 39 <br />Council Member Mueller requested the approved meeting dates be published on the City’s 40 <br />website.
